Kia ora Robin I love your beautiful mahi and have bought your three books for weaving a small korowai. I wanted to ask how I could possibly purchase the thinner mopstring you have used in your mahi. The thick mopstring distorts my taniko designs and I have compensated that by doubling up on the colour aho or have used a thicker aho. I would appreciated your awhi.
Kia Ora, The thin string is available from Browns Brushware in Portage Rd Auckland. It comes in a 4.5 kg roll, enough for 2 or 3 big korowai. Or for smaller lots email me on robin.korowai@gmail.com and I can cut to order.
